Fall is here (my favorite time of year!) and I’m feeling pretty saucy. I’ve spent the morning cuddled up in a thick wool blanket while twirling my crochet needle and swilling some cinnamon flavored coffee – it’s been DIVINE.
All this autumn goodness has me thinking of the coming year. Of trying new things (weddings!), stepping completely out of my comfort zone, becoming more firm about what-who-where I shoot, and not – under any circumstances – straying from my creative vision. I want to shoot in the rain, in the heat, under a murky sky, in the wild with the blazing sun over my shoulder, amid the concrete jungle of the city… I want to capture the love, the secret looks, the emotion of the people I shoot. Their expressions, their beauty, and their quirks… I want to shoot it all.
I’m sooo excited to see what 2017 brings. Because if this fall is a prelude to what’s ahead, it’s going to be a wild ride.
This year’s ending is my new beginning.
